Thrace Logistics — Fleet ops dashboard
A real-time fleet operations dashboard for a Bulgarian-Turkish freight operator. Replaces three separate Excel sheets and a WhatsApp group.
Thrace runs 60 trucks between Sofia, Istanbul and Thessaloniki. Operations were tracked by phone calls, paper waybills and three Excel files that never agreed.
What we did
A Node.js + PostgreSQL platform with Mapbox-based live tracking, automated waybill OCR, driver mobile app, and a customer portal for shippers. Hosted on Hetzner with a small ops team.
Outcome
Dispatch decisions that used to take 30 minutes now take 3. The customer portal alone retained two key accounts that were considering moving to Schenker.
