Plovdiv Hotels — Direct booking PWA
A direct-booking progressive web app for a five-property boutique hotel group, designed to claw back margin from Booking.com.
The group was paying 18% to OTAs and had no direct relationship with returning guests. They wanted bookings on their own domain, in their own brand, with a guest profile that travelled across all five properties.
What we did
A PWA built on Astro + Stripe + a custom availability engine that talks to their Mews PMS. Offline-friendly, installable, and 92 on Lighthouse mobile.
Outcome
Direct bookings now 41% of revenue (up from 19%). Saved enough in OTA fees in year one to pay for the platform three times over.
